One of the principles that we have always tried to live by at VG Sports is uniqueness. We pride ourselves on being trendsetters, not just followers of the crowd. The Rams Video Playbook is geared towards making these two things a reality. He works from under center, and he creates route combos that break open defenses and don't require manual catches to be successful. Throw that in with some good stick skills and you have a really nasty offensive game plan that is sure to frustrate players that are used to the same old stuff everybody else runs.

4 Reasons Why We Are Breaking Down
the St. Louis Ram's Playbook

When PhillyRon sits down to pick a playbook he always looks at which teams have personnel based around the offense that he likes to run. Of course he looked over his very own Philadelphia Eagles and of course the Patriots briefly, but the Rams stuck out to him for a few reasons.

  • They run the ball. Because of this we knew we could find some good running plays that will let us "grown man" these baby Madden minds that we see so much online.

  • They use the Tight End in their offense. This is a key factor for us because we believe that the Tight End is as much of a factor as a solid running back. If you can make the defense rotate to defend the Tight End then you will have great spacing around the field.

  • The Auto Motion. Personally we hated the auto motion, but if you open your mind and scheme around it, it can be very useful. The Rams book has a lot of Auto Motion that can be used as you go from formation to formation.

  • And lastly, because of the Bunch Fade out of the Singleback and the PA Boot Over out of the Gun Bunch TE. These two plays represent some of the best offensive power ever seen in Madden. The Bunch Fade goes back to Ron's Titans guide and the PA Boot Over is the same as last years ATL playbook Cross Punch.

Why Do I Need So Many Plays?

Many people look at the number of plays that we offer and ask themselves, do I really need 40+ plays (including updates on a continual basis)? Isn't that overkill? Does Ron really run 40 different plays each game?
